Introduction
Wind energy is defined as a form of energy in which turbines convert the kinetic energy of the wind into mechanical or electrical energy that can be used in power generation. The indirect form of solar energy is caused by a combination of factors in which the solar radiation consists of the uneven heating of the Earth's atmosphere and the topography and rotation of the Earth.


The Importance of Wind Energy

Wind energy is a source of renewable energy that comes from the air flowing through the earth's surface. Wind turbines harvest this kinetic energy into usable energy that can provide electricity to homes, farms, schools or business applications on small and medium residential and community standards.

Wind energy is one of the pioneers of the technological boom, which may lead to more efficient energy production. Its future looks promising. 
Wind energy is used to create mechanical energy. Generators convert this energy into electricity so that it can be used for the benefit of mankind. 
There are many people who rely on windmills that represent innovative and creative wind-based skills because wind energy is clean and renewable indefinitely.

Today the buzzword is clean energy - something India can cut about nature. The search has pushed humans into the sun (solar energy), wind, tides (tides), water (water) and even biogas. 
The good news is that in India, we are scheduled to be proud. India not only has the world's only renewable energy source, but it is also the fifth largest wind power producer in the world.

How is Wind Power Used Today?

Wind power is taken through a process where the wind is used to generate mechanical power or electricity. Wind turbines convert dynamic energy into mechanical power in the air, which can be used for particular work and specific tasks (like, grain milling or water pumping). 
The generator converts this mechanical power into electricity. After the recorded data, wind energy was used to transfer vessels, pumping water and grinding grains. There is evidence that wind power was used to operate boats with the Nile in the form of 5000 BC. 
  • In the United States, millions of atmospheres were formed in the late 19th century due to the development of the American West. Most of them were used to pump water for fields and farms. Wind turbine generators produced electricity in many European countries until 1910. And today, the wind connects the soil with the Netherlands, where they are used to pump water, it is in Denmark that wind is an effective source of energy.
  • Towards the house, Tamil Nadu was the first in India to fill wind power 10 years ago and he continued to be a leader. About half of the installed capacity of about 2000 MW of India comes from Tamil Nadu with wind power. Wind turbines are "decorating" our landscape near and around Madurai.
  • In Chennai, at the Center for Wind Energy Technology, research is conducted to examine various wind sites where wind power can be taped. And, wind turbines of different sizes are checked to see if they are promising to do or not. Wind power is also abundant in many parts of India in the hills of Gujarat, from Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala.
  • In the west, surveys have consistently shown that the public likes air and other renewable energy forms on traditional sources of generation. Wind energy is free, renewable resources, so how much is used even today, the same supply will still be in the future. Wind energy is also a clean, nonpolluting electricity source. Unlike conventional power plants, wind plants do not emit any air pollutants or greenhouse gases.

Wind power is one of the fastest-growing sources of new electricity generation in the world, and these growth trends can be linked to multiple benefits, including the following:

Green energy: The electricity produced by wind energy is clean, which does not produce any pollution or gases.

Economic development: In addition to low-cost wind energy, wind power is a locally produced source of electricity that does not require fuel, this enables communities to save money in their economy and creates jobs opportunities and increases the tax base, which is another economic development and alternative benefit for communities use wind energy.

Save time and fuel: One of the benefits of wind power is that it moves ships even though it is powered by engines and fuel, but there must be air to fuel combustion, as the wind has a prominent role to play in saving time and fuel.


Increase aircraft speed: Winds are a very important source of energy, The jet winds located in the atmosphere 10 kilometers away from the Earth's surface, contribute to increasing aircraft speed and pilots benefit from reduced fuel consumption. 
Wind power helps them reduce fuel and increase the speed of access in the same direction, in addition to the commercial winds that were used to pay sailboats; the sailors were arranging the dates of the departure of their ships on the date of these winds.

The windmill, whose main function is wind speed, is designed to convert energy from kinetics to other forms, such as electric energy, in a way that reduces consumption. It is driven by wind speed and depends mainly on the air.

In 1990, California's wind power plants replaced 2.5 billion pounds of carbon dioxide and 15 million pounds of other pollutants that were otherwise produced. It will require a forest of 90 to 175 million trees to provide the same quality of air.

Some have expressed concern over the noise caused by the plight of rotor blades, beauty effects, and birds flying in rotors. Most of these problems are not present in India because the remote areas are located in wind farms or problems have been solved through technological development.


Conclusion:
The wind is defined by meteorology as a strong, airborne movement due to different air pressure between different air masses. Winds move from high-pressure zones to low-pressure zones. The wind is used as wind energy for many purposes. 
Wind power has many benefits and advantages but there are also some disadvantages and challenges with wind energy. 
The main challenge to use the air as a source of electricity is that it is temporary and does not always fly when electricity is required. However, the fact is that air is the fastest-growing source of power generation in the world.
